Julie has a background in biostatistics from her Master’s degree. After a fellowship at the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer performing statistical analyzes of data from cancer clinical trials, she worked as support biostatistician / bioinformatician within BRECT (breast cancer theme center), a consortium of research groups at Karolinska Institute. She then started a PhD in bioinformatics studying regulation of mRNA translation on a transcriptome-wide scale and graduated in 2020. Julie joined the short- and medium-term support team at NBIS in September 2020 and is located in Stockholm.
