Alex earned his PhD in Computational and Statistical Physics from the Technical University of Athens in 2012. Afterwards, he held postdoc and researcher positions at Uppsala University where he worked on developing scientific software for advanced materials modeling.
His background is in software development, scientific computing, quantum statistics and applied mathematics.
Alex joined NBIS in September 2021 and is located at Uppsala.
